Randstad are looking for experienced Landscaping labourers to work for a Non-for-profit company based in the Northern Suburbs of Adelaide to work accross a range of civil and commercial projects.

About the Role

This Landscaper role is based in Edinburgh and reports to the Operations Manager. It is responsible for providing labour support to assist in the installation of commercial landscape projects such as creating wetland areas and building usable community green areas such as parks and playgrounds.

Duties include:

  • Take direction to assist in the installation of hardscapes such as walkways, play equipment and retaining walls
  • Create and manage soft scapes including turf maintenance and planting
  • Operate and maintain all equipment in a safe workable condition
  • Read and interpret plans
  • Identify plant specimens

About You

You will have a qualification in landscape construction and / or equivalent previous experience and enjoy a hands-on physical role. Additionally, you will thrive in a team environment, where you can build your skills and feel the pride of working with others to see a project completed.

Other knowledge, skills and attributes include:

  • Current unrestricted driver’s licence
  • White card
  • MR truck licence (desirable not essential)
  • Skid-steer and excavator licence (highly desirable not essential)
  • Experience driving a manual vehicle and with a trailer (desirable not essential)

Prior to commencement you will also need to:

  • Provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance (no older than six months)
  • Supply evidence of right to work in Australia and 100 points of identification
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
